Painted Undead Hunter from Reaper

I finished up another hunter of the undead.  This is a cool miniature.  A lot of neat detail on him.
The miniature has some sort of GW inspired things going on with it.
Love the armor on it, its well sculpted and has good relief to make it easy to paint.
Those poor faces in the back.
I gave the litany look to those ribbons.

Gorak the Ravager!!!

Another awesome Reaper Miniature.
This is Gorak the ravager.  Another barbarian model that I originally was going to use with the mutant marauders as well, like the last one.
Look at the size of that axe.  If I would have had this in the chaos army, I would have dremeled that symbol off the axe and added a huge chaos symbol.  But with that project now dead, I just left it.
Simple leather and fur.
Again the muscles on this  miniature are pretty awesome. Definitely can see the Tre Manor sculpting.
As always more to follow....

Barbarian time by Crom!

Originally this barbarian was to be part of the mutant marauders long ago.  Its a metal Reaper Miniature that I converted with a shield and chaos sword and some armor plates.
I've probably had this miniature for 15 years or better.  I love great looking sculpts that have a lot of relief and undercut in them.  So this thing painted up very well.
 The musculature is wonderful.

The face and hair on this mini is kind of a let down as the rest of it is quite awesome.
Well that is it for now.  More to follow.

Another RPG Reaper Miniature Painted

I have no idea how many years that I have had this miniature sitting in a box to be painted.   It is an undead hunter from Reaper Miniatures.
I always loved the cape and hood sculpting on this miniature.  And it paints up very well.
I used my typical red and leather color scheme.  It's fun scheme that I was painting a series of miniatures with, I think a big batch Romans at the time.

That's it for now.  Its done.  This miniature will be going up for sale on Ebay.

CHAOS!.....Time for a Minotaur

Seriously love the pose and detail of this Minotaur.  And the thing is absolutely huge.
There is detail covering this model, everywhere.
So, yea its been awhile since I have done anything beastmen related, but I still enjoy them.
That axe is massive and so cool.
And more to follow.

Another Reaper Miniatures Paladin

This is another Paladin that I painted up.  Its a pretty awesome miniature from Reaper.
 It paints up pretty easily.
I love the flow of the hair especially.
You can see how that hair is layered.
The blue tabard is something I needed to help with the color contrast.
That's it for now....more to follow.

I think I'm Back....Maybe...New Chaos Mutant Marauder

What the heck PPC your BACK!!!????!!!?????  Well maybe.  Like with anything in life, you sometimes hit a cross-roads.  For me that occurred, 5-years ago with having been diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma and having 11.5 hours of brain surgery to remove the tumor that turned out to be benign.
Its to me that everything since then has changed.  I'm still getting better from it, but not without difficulty.  And the games industry that I was involved in from a hobby standpoint changed.  This has been complicated, by my single-sided deafness from the tumor, left eye issues, turning 50, buying a house, Photobucket's changes, the sort of collapse of the blogging and forums community, the closing of our local game shop, the disappearance of friendships, discovery of new hobbies, rediscovery of old hobbies, coming to cross-roads in my profession.
So where does this take me....I'm not entirely sure.  I'll likely utilize my Facebook page more (Madhouse Workshop), I'm thinking about doing some YouTube, similar to my kart racing channel that is still going strong at Racing Psychosis.  Where does that leave the blog...again, I don't know.
So what is this figure?  Well years ago, Mike Butcher and I were doing some things with James at Lost in the Warp.  We did a figure swap at the time.  James built this miniature to go with my now defunct Mutant Marauders in exchange for some beastmen that I built him.  I was to paint this up.
Its a strange miniature, definitely mutated.
