Movie Predator Space Marine

Started this thing a long time ago, very straight forward kit bash. The head is the only real putty work required to make a cool looking model.

I've thought about building an entire unit of these like the beastly chaos marines. That will have to be some other time as I'm running behind on painting my Crusading Normans for Adepticon.


The rock is actually flattened out Apoxie Sculp allowed to cure, then broken with a hammer. I also press a relief pattern into the top of the flattened piece of putty before it cures with an actual broken rock.

Predator Space Marine Progress

Yea I went to the movie this past weekend, really enjoyed Predators. To me a fun movie to sit back and watch.

Been working a bit on the Predator Space Marine. There are a few things that I would do differently after watching the movie, save that for the next one I think.

Its a fun miniature to build though. The next one will definitely not use a spear and I'll do something a bit different with the right hand.

Next up a few WIP shots of some things that I'm working on a bit of paint and a Batman Space Marine sighting.

Predatorial

A predator in our midst. This mini has been sitting on my desk for a long time, so I decided it was time to actually perform some work on the model. Its coming around and finally looking like something inspired by the movie creature.
