Just adding some things to my collection for basement play:
Yea I know the shield is not finished.

Painted!! Shaedra the Paladin
This is another of those interesting Reaper Miniatures. Fun to paint.
Like the little hand-crossbow thing.
Yea another blonde. I think my reds and leathers turned out pretty good.
The back of this mini just flows so well.
There you have it, good fun....as always more to follow.

I miss Saxon Miniatures....
Another painted warlord from Saxon Miniatures. Yea I know they are now part of Warlord Games, but is that a good thing? Will they ever have Colin sculpt some more miniatures?
But anyways, this is a cool miniature and fun to paint.
Nothing special on the shield painting.
I love the drawing of the sword.

Painted Berserker
Ah the bearskin...I truly love this pose from Saxon Miniatures. The bearskin is genius.
There is what I like about the post that sort of lunge thing going on.

Painted Kassandra of the Blade
Dang! this a fun miniature to paint. Super dynamic, Werner Klonke scuplt from Reaper Miniatures.
Lots of cool leather. Good flow to it.
I've had this model for a few years, don't know why I did not paint it sooner.
Just look at the flow of it.
Yep, if you like painting, you should pick up that model.

Another Viking by Saxon
One of the things I loved about the Saxon Miniatures Viking Warlords were all the interesting poses for regal looking miniatures.
This is one of those.
The only thing I wish I would have fixed was to brown stuff that cape, the casting was a bit rough.

Painted Viking Bondi Unit
Back in my WAB playing days, I ran a Viking army that was all Hirdmen with archers. I really needed a unit or 4 of these Bondi.
So here they finally are. I finally got around to finishing them up.
I think they turned out well. Mostly Gripping Beast plastics with a metal model or two and a Foundry model, Mr. Striped Pants below.
Oh yea the armored guy does not belong. He's a coward.
And above is the backside of the models.

Another Warlord for my Vikings
I'm enjoying the character models. This will be one of them, an old Foundry Miniatures model.
Scale on him is a little small, so I did raise him on the base a little bit to help his short stature.
Lots of mail to paint, but that's okay.

Painted Blood Rage Viking
For being a relatively cheap plastic game piece, I'm rather surprised how well it paints up.
Yea this mini once had a massive spear, but that was so badly warped and I could not get it to straighten out. So plastic is your friend and convert it right.....not so fast.
My normal plastic glue would not weld this, obviously a different type of plastic.
So pin and superglue the axe head.
I think its a cool mini and plan on painting the other versions of it in different paint schemes.
As always more to follow.

A variety of Dane Axe Miniatures Painted
I've been painting away on various minis that I have lying around. I have a bunch of Dane Axe and Berserkers modeled up. The one above is a Gripping Beast metal. The one below is a Saxon Miniatures now part of Warlord Games.
Then this one below is a conversion using of a defunct War Games Factory miniature, now also part of Warlord Games, converted with Gripping Beast parts.
As always more to come.....
