Whooooooo! Get on your tractor and go home....

...hillbilly #4. Let the retirement talk commence in Viqueen land, I can't wait to listen to that. Even better he added a few more INT's to his wonderful record.

The Spawning

The following is a piece I have been working on for a little bit, something I certainly plan to paint at some point. Calling it the spawning for obvious reasons, does look rather painful.

Did I mention Rome is coming? Probably have some pics of my WAB Romans come this weekend. Nothing really special...but it has been fun, probably the fastest I have ever painted a 1000 pt army, and they are tiny little bastards. After Rome...I'll be moving on to orcs and some more mutated Empire.

Nurgle #2 which just may be smarter than Agent 0

This is the Beast of Nurgle #2, again converted from the Forgeworld Nurgle Ogryn which is a simply gloriously detailed model, its very stunning to look at in person, and my job was to get rid of all of the techno stuff to make it fit the fantasy realm. I think was able to pull it off, and it continued my education of sculpting nurgle. There were alot of tech stuff on the back that needed covering and I changed the angle of the one arm.

There was also a huge piece of tech coming out of the gut with mechanical looking tube, simply covered that to make the model even more bloated, and the tube was made to look sort of like an intestinal bypass, I figure these guys must generate some good methane, so they probably digest their own sludge.

Now on to Agent 0, Gilbert Areanas, I guess we now know why he wears the #0. What kind of idiot stores his weapons at his workplace, other than maybe a disgruntled Postal Work. You especially have to be nuts to do that Washington DC of all places. Oh his reasoning is that he didn't want to have them at home with his young kids. Well then either sell them or get yourself a gun safe, you should be able to afford one at $10 million a year. What is wrong with these guys? The NFL and NBA ought to have the NRA come in and teach these guys about gun safety, and then when they are done with that they should have to pass a hunter's safety course. The Wizards, formerly Bullets what irony there, you can bet will go after all the money that they wasted on this guy and his fragile knees. Now we all know why his nickname is Agent 0.
Rome is coming.......

Mutated Empire...

Someone that I often work with wanted to use the flaggellants in his chaos army with a mutated twist to sub in for the current marauders. So I started coming up with a number of relatively minor alterations to the models to give them that mutated chaos feel. This is just the start, a few horns, some two headed fiends, and an eyeball [blatantly stolen from the young Mr. Dylan Gauker]

I've also mixed a few chaos weapon swaps and accessory bits.

More to follow on these guys, as there are about 40 of them. And yes the Romans are coming....

Beast of Nurgle #1

Been doing a lot of projects lately, this is the most busy I have ever been on projects, I'll eventually get around to showing most the work...very large variety of things.

First up a fantasy beast of nurgle conversion using one of the Forgeworld nurgle ogryn. This is an incredibly detailed model. I learned alot about sculpting nurgle by taking on this project and how certain effects are achieved in converting this thing from 40k to Fantasy, the goal of which was to get rid of all of the techno/modern stuff and replace it with pure nurgle. To do so required matching the high level of detail of the Forgeworld sculpt. Here is how it turned out.

Next up a sneek peak at what I'm painting for myself, its coming from Rome.
